Purpose: Job holder will use data to figure the type and design of reports that can be provided to top administration and administrative managers that can assist in informed decision making. Gather this data through a number of ways, from mining AUC computer data through AUC data warehouse, looking at peers data and industry trends to help develop a picture of where the institution stands in the industry, where they can improve and where they can reduce costs.
He/She will be analyzing data, past trends, current conditions, etc. Look at large chunks of data and understand trends, and then communicate those trends to the company. Look at data gaps and devise a process for data collection and integration into AUC data warehouse and gather management reporting needs.
Principal Accountabilities:
- Develop data outputs (reports, dashboards, key performance indicators (KPI) and visualizations), and assist in data modeling and BI environment architecture tasks.
- Use data reporting and visualization tools to mine through data and trends
- Use analytics skills to determine what data trends and numbers mean
- Communicate your findings to the different AUC stakeholders
- Works with different stakeholders and Quality and Governance (IR) partners to establish data dictionaries and validate data outputs.
- Develops and writes business requirements for the design of solutions
- May determine and analyze commonly used queries and reports for further automation
- Researches business problems and assists in the creation of models that help analyze these problems.
- Support and facilitate workshops and interviews to elicit information needed to develop logical and physical data models.
- Assist with Users administration and management of users access.
- Design training materials and conduct user training/ orientation for roll-out.
- Perform data profiling to identify and understand anomalies.
- Perform other duties as requested by direct supervisor.
