-Hospitality , floating boats & restaurant experience is preferable
-Assists the Purchasing Manager in organizing, developing, operating the Purchasing Department to follow and effectively carry through the procedures of purchasing as laid down to him by the management.
- Assists the Purchasing Manager in covering the store requisitions requests of purchases, engineering equipment or spare parts and generally all the company needs.
-Handles & monitors all importing procedures by coordination with the Purchasing Manager.
-Knows the market and seeks constant information about changes in prices, available products, etc.
-Compares quality and prices permanently between the suppliers.
-Maintains the filling cabinet with all information such as suppliers, offered prices, purchase orders, etc and updates it.
-Goes personally to the markets to be aware of shortages, recent price changes and seasonal situations.
-Keeps the management constantly informed about all happenings in the market concerning the business
-Ensures that the needed goods are delivered on time.
-Submits ideas, alternatives and new products to the management according to the company policy.
-Searches for favorable companies with best prices bearing in mind the quality and price of the available goods.
-Revises all purchasing orders, communications, letters and price offers before presenting it for acceptance.
-Ensures that all employees under his/her supervision are familiar with their job tasks.
-Keeps all records related to customs log book updated on a regular basis and follows up the renewal of imported licenses.
-Searches for market survey regularly.
-Assists in all the FF&E purchases according to the approved budget.
-Carries out all orders issued to him/her by the management.
-Visits fairs and follows up the updates and new items.
