- Establishes, develops and maintains business relationships with current and potential customers to generate new business for the organizations products/services.
- Contacting potential clients via email or phone to establish rapport and set up meetings.
- Researches organizations & individuals to identify new leads and potential new markets.
- Attend conferences, meetings and events.
- Develops clear and effective written proposals/quotations for current and potential customers.
- Expedites the resolution of customer problems and complaints.
- Recommend business development tactics for short and long-term plans.
- Understand customer needs and requirements.
- Supplies management with oral and written reports on customer needs, problems, interests, competitive activities, and potential for new products and services.
- Work on business recovery plans to ensure business continuity.
- Perform other duties as assigned
