- Cost-effectively promote company brand name, books and bookstore services worldwide.
- Assist in the development of the overall company strategy in collaboration with Associate Director for Sales and Marketing and senior managers.
- Develop and implement annual marketing strategy and plan to achieve company objectives and within the agreed budget.
- Manage company digital media and direct mailing outreach activities.
- Manage and develop the marketing team to ensure personal development and growth.
- Manage relationships with sales, editorial, production teams on content, design and quality of titles.
- Manage all marketing aspects of author relations and event management.
- To achieve frequent, timely and positive media coverage for AUC Press across international media, to create sales and enhance author relations.
- Analyze and develop strategic partnerships for special sales opportunities and feed to the sales team.
- Convey key initiatives, financials, and marketing updates at various internal meetings as needed.
- Responsible for creating and promoting local book fairs on and off campus.
- Develop, enhance and grow AUC Press contacts database and mailing lists.
- Stay current with industry best practices and emerging trends and propose recommendations for continued growth.
- Perform any other related tasks as assigned.
