Responsible for the planning, development and implementation of all of the Organizations
marketing strategies, marketing communications, and public relations
activities, both external and internal. Involved in the development and
implementation of support materials and services for chapters in the area of
marketing, communications and public relations.
- Develops an annual communications plan with specific goals and budgets. Prepares working plans to achieve goals and ensures the communications team is fully briefed on goals and progress.
- Compares actual accomplishments against goals on a systematic basis and takes corrective action when required.
- Prepares on a timely basis the monthly sales & marketing "communications" report.
- Manage and directs photography for advertising, collateral and public relations purposes in liaison with the marketing team, the advertising agency and the field marketing department at corporate office.
- Overlook all press releases and maintain a constant supply of articles for the media partners
- Create new business tie-ups and partners, Secures opportunities, directs and attends hotel sponsored events, and develops targeted partner relationships.
- Reviews the hotels market segmentation and other appropriate marketing reports to ensure that the media scheduling matches those segments.
- Ensures press releases information is comprehensive and kept up-to-date.
- Takes ownership in problem solving and shows accountability in decision making in line with IHG P&P
- Ensures hotel information is updated regularly on the internet/intranet.
