Distribution Account Manager
The Distribution Account Manager is responsible for developing the relationship with the distributors and driving implementation of the account strategy to maximize Dell sales. The incumbent needs to have a solid and in-depth understanding of the customer’s business drivers and use this knowledge to influence the partner’s activities for creating profitable business.
 
Responsibilities:
Own the Distributors business across Egypt.
Build a sales-in LoB plan by country for commercial distributors.
Drive the assigned targets with distribution partners in country.
Work with FMM’s,  AE’s and the solutions heads and Distribution leads/RSMs.
Work with distribution marketing to allocate appropriate marketing funds to support sales-out programs for distributors and certified partners.
Own the distribution accelerated growth plans on all aspects: revenue, units and margin.
Drive daily the Distributors’ account managers to achieve their objective
Monitor sales out activities and WOI’s on a weekly basis.
Actively build relationships with Distributors and key T2 certified solution partners.
Work closely with FPMs to ensure quarterly roadmap and products training are conducted timely with distributors and certified T2
Required Skills:
Over eight years of account management/sales or customer service experience in a renowned IT company
Demonstrated experience in negotiations
Experience working and delivering results in a fast paced, rapidly changing environment
Ability to use Excel, Word and PowerPoint;
Fluent in English.
 
Desired Skills:
Strong relationship buildings skills – both internally and with key accounts
Must be well organized, detail-oriented
Excellent communication skills – both written and verbal
